BIO
I am a teacher, a traveler, a writer and a guide. For 18 years, I taught French language and culture, and traveled with students to France and Quebec for homestay experiences. My goal was to bring a richer connection to the culture for my students, and more importantly, to expand their perspectives. I have also worked as a travel guide for over a decade with women’s travel groups both in the United States and throughout the world. It was in traveling, especially to places of profound natural beauty, that I began to notice the yearning of others for deeper connection to traveling companions, as they were experiencing a deeper connection with the natural world. This helped me better understand the universal need for connecting with others, and with The Divine.
When you engage in Spiritual Direction with me, you can expect a non judgemental space of deep listening as you work to discover the wisdom that exists within your own heart. Perhaps you are looking for a greater awareness of Spirit in your own life, or to develop a connection with The Inner Teacher that you have not experienced before.
Are you being called to Spiritual Direction?
Do you have a desire to develop an awareness of The Divine Presence in your life?
Are you interested in discussing your own life, or periods of your life, where the Inner Teacher has been at work, or perhaps has seemed unexpectedly absent?
Are you in the process of discernment in exploring a life decision in depth before moving forward?
I encourage my clients to engage in a daily contemplative practice, which can be meditation, prayer, journaling, chanting, yoga, or any practice that helps foster a connection with The Divine.
I have been trained in the Art of Spiritual Direction through The Wellstreams program at the Spirituality Network in Columbus, Ohio, and am a member of Spiritual Directors International.
